Cleo Rose Elliott (born September 17, 1984) is the daughter of an American actor Sam Elliott and his wife Katherine Ross.She is an American model, singer, songwriter, and social media influencer in her own right.

Katharine Ross and Sam Elliot welcomed Cleo into the world on September 17, 1984, in California, United States of America. Both parents happen to be big shots in the entertainment industry as they are reputable actors. Her father, Sam Elliott, is an American actor who has won several accolades, including a National Board of Review Award.

Her mother, Katherine Ross, is also an American film, stage, and television actress. Cleo Rose Elliot attended Collin McEwen High School. She had displayed an aptitude for music from a young age, and her parents started breeding her passion. As a result, she started taking flute and guitar lessons in school. After graduating from high school, she was still enthused about music and art, so she began schooling at Joanne Barron Acting Studio in Santa Monica.

She studied there for four years, from 2002 to 2006. During this period, she was only eighteen years old. She then started vocal opera training under musicians like Charity Chapman, where she focused on the Italian Opera and musical tradition of Bel Canto. Her schooling, in general, was directly wholly on music and Arts, so it contributed a lot in helping her career path.

Although most of her schooling was based on music, Cleo Rose Elliot initially diverted into modeling. At the age of 19, she began as a small-time model and modeled for brands in the market that were particular about facial features and exposure. She worked for these brands for a while before her major debut in 2003. She was one of the models for the Sexyhair show, a live hairstyling event that was aired on TV.

Cleo gained the attention of many brands at this show and started receiving various proposals and offers from high brands and magazines. In the same year, she appeared on the cover of Malibu Times Magazine alongside her parents. She has been known to model for brands ever since and was even spotted on the red carpet during the creative Arts of Emmy Awards on July 29, 2013.

While in music school, Cleo Rose joined the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, popularly known as ASCAP. Her trainer then, Charity Chapman, introduced Cleo to Late music producer Bobby Harby. She shared her music compositions with him, and he was quite impressed with them. Moved by her skills and efforts, they both worked together on her first project and debut Solo.

In 2008, she released the project album ‘No More Lies.’ This remains her sole album to date, and she is yet to receive an award as a singer. The album was relatively successful, but it was only released on CD so, it was not versatile. She then featured on more songs, but her music career is not as well-grounded as her modeling career. Cleo Rose, in an interview, mentioned Lady Gaga, Guns N’ Roses, and Pink Floyd among her biggest motivations in music.

In March 2011, Katherine Ross issued a restraining order against her daughter, Cleo Rose Elliott. Katherine said in an interview that Cleo was an abusive child who became extremely violent right from the age of 12. The tumultuous relationship became public after Cleo Rose allegedly stabbed her mother with scissors in their home in Malibu. According to the 81-year-old, her daughter usually had a hot temper, but the morning of the incident was with an intent to kill.

In her statement, Cleo cut off the telephone wires, and while the duo was struggling, she stabbed her six times on her right arm. After the episode, Katherine issued a restraining order against her daughter, Cleo Rose, on March 30, 2011. She was not allowed to get within 100 yards in the same space with her mother. Cleo was already 27 at the time of the incident. To date, nobody knows the actual cause of what instigated the incident except the family.

Although they’ve had a terrible past, Cleo Rose currently has a healthy relationship with her parents. There is no information about her having any negative issues with her dad, so it is safe to say that they’ve had quite a good relationship from the start. In recent times, Cleo Rose has been seen with her mother at events, making it known that they have buried the hatchet and continued their relationship as mother and daughter.

The father, mother, and daughter were seen together at the movie premiere of ‘The Hero’ in 2017, with all smiles as they took pictures together. To confirm that they all have a healthy relationship, Cleo posted her parents on her Instagram page, wishing them a happy anniversary together.

While Katherine Ross and Same Elliott officially met each other in 1978 after they landed prominent roles in the horror movie,The Legacy,1969 was the first time they worked together. Katherine Ross had starred inButch Cassidy and the Sundance Kidas Etta Place while her future husband, Sam Elliott, appeared as an extra in a bar scene in the same movie and made no attempts to speak to her then.

InThe Legacy,both of them played an American couple living in England, and it was not long until they became a couple offset as well. At the time, Katherine Ross was still married to her fourth husband, Gaetano Lisi. However, they divorced a year later, and she went on to marry Sam Elliott in 1984. Cleo Rose Elliott duly arrived just four months after they married, and she remains their only child to date.

Although Cleo Rose Elliott is quite popular, she has been conservative about her dating life, and she doesn’t share much information with the public regarding that. But there have been rumors that she is currently engaged to her long-time boyfriend, Christopher Bates. This was derived from one of his Instagram posts, where he referred to Cleo Rose as his fiancée.

Christopher Bates is a downhill mountain biker and cyclist, although he started as a musician. Asides from Bates, there are no public records available that provide information on Cleo’s past relationships, and as such, it is difficult to speculate on the people she might have romantic connections with.
