He is also a television personality and reality TV star best known for his appearance on the reality TV show I Love New York. The show is a spin-off of VH1’s Flavor of Love, where he was addressed as Chance.
On the show, Givens was one of 20 contestants vying for the affection of reality TV star Tiffany “New York” Pollard. There is more to him though than meets the eye. So here are untold truths about the African American rapper.

In 2013, the late rapper and reality TV star was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer which left him needing surgery and chemotherapy. He seemed to have escaped the worst of it after the treatments he received but things became worse in January 2015 after a nasty fall left him bedridden. Kamal Givens’ younger brother succumbed to the disease on February 21, 2015.
His younger brother’s death left him devastated and in pain, emotions which prompted a teary-eyed Instagram tribute where he referred to the late Ahmad as his favorite guy in the world and essentially told him to rest in peace.
