Honor McTavish’s parents first met each other in London in the early 2000s. They began dating around that same time and later got engaged. They then wed and continued building their life in London. The couple welcomed their first daughter, Honor, in 2006 and worked hard to give her a good life. They made sure that she had all the material things that she could ever need. He had previously displayed that support by helping her land a role in one of his movies in 2012. Honor McTavish started acting at the age of 6, thanks to her father who helped her score a minor role in the first Hobbit film,The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, in 2012. She played the role of a cute hobbit and her part made it into the extended version of the film. This humble outing marked her debut professional role.
Honor McTavish has only one sibling and that is a younger sister named Hope. Hope was born around 2015 which means that she is about nine years older than her.
